Advanced Multidisciplinary Care for Endometriosis at Every Stage
Our surgeons have operated together for years and have many years of experience in treating endometriosis – preserving function, minimizing recurrence, and restoring quality of life.
Your Path to Relief And a Life You Love Starts Here
Endometriosis is when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often on the ovaries, pelvic lining, bowel, bladder, or diaphragm. It can cause pelvic pain, painful sex, GI and urinary symptoms, fatigue, and fertility challenges. Many patients spend years searching for answers. We see you.
At the Comprehensive Endometriosis Institute, we listen first and build a plan that protects what matters to you. Our surgeons have operated together for years. We specialize in meticulous excision (removing disease, not just burning it), aim to preserve function whenever safely possible, and work to minimize recurrence so you can get your life back.

— Our Process
Multidisciplinary Surgical Approach for Endometriosis in Los Angeles
Endometriosis rarely affects just one structure. When bowel, bladder, ureter, or diaphragm are involved, our gynecologic, colorectal, and (when needed) urologic/thoracic surgeons plan together and operate together. That means fewer staged procedures and faster, more predictable recovery.
How we do it:
01
Integrated pre-op workup
Targeted ultrasound/MRI protocols, stool/urinary symptom screening, and fertility goals inform a single surgical map.
02
Joint case conference
Surgeons review imaging side-by-side to agree on access, extent of excision, nerve-sparing opportunities, and contingency plans.
03
Definitive excision
Laparoscopic or robotic removal of all visible disease, plus adhesiolysis and organ repair (discoid/segmental bowel resection, ureterolysis, partial diaphragmatic resection) as indicated.
04
Function First
We prioritize organ preservation and nerve-sparing techniques whenever safely possible.
05
Recurrence reduction
Thorough excision, meticulous hemostasis, and tailored post-op strategies (e.g., pelvic PT, cycle suppression when appropriate) aim to minimize recurrence.
